The motors are specially designed with top terminal box. These are mainly suitable for flexible direct coupling or belt drives with load gd2 equal to motor gd2. The motors are widely used for pumps, compressors, machine tools, textile, fans, crushers, materials handling, and cranes etc. The features of the flame proof motors are as follows.
- Robust & ruggedly built with cast iron of fabricated construction.
- Enclosures are hydraulically tested for a pressure of 10 kg/cm² [150 psi].
- A unibake component painting system at controlled atmosphere ensures quality finish, scratch resistance and durability.
- Class "f" insulation with class "b" temperature rise limit.
- Foot / flange [both b & c type] mounting with single shaft extension.
- Optimum fan design for better cooling and minimum energy consumption.
- Suitable for dol starting up to 100 frames and dol / star-delta for 112 to 160 frame.
- Direction of rotation is clockwise looking from driving end.
- Final product painting with epoxy based da gray color with good quality finish.
